Create and edit recipes

Add a blank recipe by hand, or edit ingredients, steps, and details after an import.

Create a blank recipe

Mobile: open a recipe editor from your library flows, or save a Chef-suggested recipe and edit it.

Web: Library → New, or Import → Create blank.

Fill in:

  • Title
  • Ingredients (amounts and units)
  • Steps
  • Optional notes, timing, and servings

Edit an existing recipe

  1. Open the recipe from your library.
  2. Choose Edit.
  3. Change any field, then save.

Edits sync to your account when you are signed in (Local Unlock keeps the library on-device only).

Covers

Shared catalog covers can attach when you import or generate a cover where the app offers it. Personal camera uploads for custom covers may be limited by product flags; prefer catalog covers when offered.
