Library, folders, tags, and favorites
Find recipes fast with search, folders, tags, and favorites on Home and in the web library.
Library basics
- Search by title
- Filter by All, Favorites, a folder, or a tag
- Open a recipe for details, scaling, share, and Chef help
Folders
Folders group recipes (weeknights, meal prep, holidays).
Mobile: Settings → Folders to create or delete. Add a recipe to a folder from the recipe detail screen.
Web: filter by folder on Library; add or remove folders from the recipe detail page when signed in.
Tags
Light labels such as weeknight, batch cook, or kids.
Mobile: Settings → Tags, or tag from a recipe.
Web: tags stay in this browser only (they do not sync to your phone).
Favorites
Star recipes you cook often. On web, favorites are also browser-local.
Tip
On Free, the library has a recipe cap (plus referral bonuses). Plus, Pro, and Local Unlock raise that limit. See Plans for details.
