Language and accessibility

Language

Choose English, Español, Français, or Deutsch. On mobile, System follows your device language when supported and otherwise uses English. Open Settings → Language, Design, and Accessibility to change it. On the web companion, use the language selector in Settings. The public website and wiki have a compact four-language picker in the header.

Chef follows the app language unless you explicitly request another language. Changing the UI language does not translate your existing recipes, ingredient lists, notes, or other user content.

Public website links carry the selected language in ?lang=en, ?lang=es, ?lang=fr, or ?lang=de. Without a valid explicit language parameter, public pages use English.

Accessibility

Chef’s Kiss supports Dynamic Type and VoiceOver / TalkBack on mobile. Web controls support keyboard navigation and accessible labels. Contact support from Settings if a control is hard to reach with a screen reader.
