Import, export, and cleanup
Back up your library as JSON, bring in Paprika or Recipe Keeper files, and merge duplicates.
These tools live under Settings on mobile.
Import / Export
Settings → Import / Export
- Export your library as JSON or plain text for a backup
- Import JSON to restore or merge on another device
- Import Paprika or Recipe Keeper libraries
File imports do not spend Chef Base or Burst quota (and neither do URL / photo AI imports). Cover images may not travel with every export format.
Clean up duplicates
Settings → Clean Up Duplicates
The app groups likely duplicates by source URL or title and helps you keep the newest copy.
Tip
Export a JSON backup before a big cleanup or before you switch phones.
